consider validating station data in a method similar to NOAA's MADIS system
Aside from the current absolute checks, consider validating data (temperature, dewpoint, pressure, avg wind speed/direction) with a relative metric against five other stations within a radius (e.g. 25 miles). If the reported value is more than (n) delta from the average of the other five stations consistently over several reports, consider it to be suspect. Ultimately, develop a quality grade (e,g, A through F, Excellent through poor) for every station based on well data compares over a reasonably short historical average (one week?).
The idea is to help users choose better reporting stations, and also help station owners better recognize…
2 votesThis is how it works now. WE’re working on ways to improve the system, and also make station owners more aware of problems with their stations.

Last one was a week ago, will they be every week now?

Restore old snowfall forecast map
You used to have a map that showed contours of expected snow depth of a storm. This was by far the most useful info on what a storm's impact was likely to be. It showed (if you don't remember) contours of depth like 1" - 6", 6" - 12", etc. Simple, clear, useful. I don't mean the probability of precip, precip history, or current precip. Please bring back this highly useful map. If you still have it, it's buried in the site so it's impossible to find. Thank you.

sort snow depths numerically rather than alphabetically
Clicking on the depth column in snow depth reports sorts the numeric data alphabetically so, for example, 5" is listed after 10".

Have smaller feedback box.
Just have smaller box or just email the people using the service. Thanks for your time...

Move the 'Dead Heat' story?
Could you possibly move the 'Dead Heat' story/blog over to blogs rather than it's present location in the 'photo and video' menu? It's a great story (I loved it!) but it gets in the way for us photographers.
Thank you, love the new feedback tab, I hope I am using it for it's intended purpose.

1 voteAngela, thank you for your concern about this issue. I believe it is fixed (at least with a stopgap solution).
