Go back to the old version please
This one is just too complicated. I can't figure out how to use the animation in a meaningful way. I just want to see the weather change over the previous 90 minutes and know what time it is as the map changes -- as is is now, I can see all of the page as the bottom is cut off by the browser (Firefox). Very confusing and a LOT LESS USEFUL.

I created an account just too vote for this!
I was Thrilled to see that I could go back to the old pre Weather Channel take over Wunderpage, as I was pulling my feed straight from the NWS; It worked but was over kill. just to get accurate radar.
I used WeatherUnderground because it gave me the tools, and sophisticated power I wanted vs. the dumbed down weather.com.
I can not stand what they have done to the radar on the new style it renders it absolutely useless with whatever they have done to it to get that new 'Base' image, and there is no way to remove it.
Please tell me this is only a test.

R.I.P. Classic Version - It is written that the Classic version is no longer supported, so I must assume that since I cannot access it today that it will never come back. Wunderground giveth...wunderground taketh away.

@wordsilk, I can't reproduce the scrolling issue you're encountering. It would be really helpful if you could send an email with a screenshot to help@wunderground.com
I wunder if it's an add-on issue...

Part of the timeline is cut off at the bottom of my browser and there is no way to scroll to see the bottom of it. Unless it's supposed to look all squished and illegible like that (not everyone has 20/20 eyesight). In Chrome, it takes so long to load it's not even worth the bother. Still don't know why you fixed something that wasn't broken.

@wordsilk: can you elaborate on the problem you're seeing in Firefox? What is being cut off by the browser?
The default animation period is 60 minutes if you do nothing but press the animation "Play" button in the lower-left. We'll be adding more helpful presets in the near future, as well.
Cheers

I agree, new map is useless to me. Thanks to wundergound, you can still use the classic maps by inserting "classic" in your orginal links. ie
