In the UK, we use celcius and mph as our main units for wind and temperature, but the options are farenheit and mph, or Celsius and km/h. It would be good to have 'true' English units that are standard here in the UK.
I would like to report my barometric pressure using hPa instead of inHg, but I want to leave other fields as imperial units (mph, inches of rain, etc.). I don't want a conversion from inHg to hPa but rather a direct reporting of hPa.
Currently when you select deg C for temperature you automatically get kph for speed. In the UK we use deg C for temp but mph for speed. An improvement would be to allow this combination.
I appreciate your patience on this. We are keenly aware of the issue and I hope we integrate it with any of the new products we develop. The more support this item receives in the feedback forums, the more likely it is that we can address it.
What williamwilbur said.
Please, Weather Underground, offer us the option to select the recognised UK unit format.
°C and mph!
Weather Underground? You are NOT doing anything about this. Do you respect the UK? It seems not. Please can you add an option to make the UK have °C and mph?
Please do sort this out soonest.
I use my station weather sticker in my sig. on many forums and often get comments lamenting the lack of recognized UK unit format.
Please give us Celsius and MPH.
Norvin, I'm going to merge this item with another similar item. Cheers!
Weather Underground? Please?
Yes, this would be good for Ken True's AJAX/PHP Templates... :D
