WunderMap now uses your browser timezone by default, instead of GMT. If you set a wunderground site timezone preference, (http://www.wunderground.com/member/membersettings.html?page=prefs), we will use it instead. In the future, we hope to expose this site preference from within the WunderMap.
I activated the storm tracks on the "New" blundermap to see the timeline of the storm approaching. Well, they stayed for about 2 seconds, hardly long enough for me to see which way they were going,
Where on this page is the link to the old wundermap, which actually DID work?1 vote
We’ve addressed this issue on the WunderMap. Please let us know if this works fine now or if you have any additional feedback.
Only on the dropdown for maps and radar can I go to current conditions and see the large area isobars and fronts. Can we get this data as an overlay on the Wundermaps?12 votes
We have pushed the U.S. Fronts layer to the stable version of WunderMap -

I used to see a tick mark on the radar maps for each of the cities in my favorites list. At some point, this feature disappeared. Please bring it back.24 votes
We have pushed this feature from WunderMap Beta to the stable version of WunderMap -
You can enable an option to make your favorites always visible on the map from the Favorites menu (the ‘star’ button on top). We will work on styling it better and keep you updated when that happens.
Please let us know what you think and if this works well for you.
The old map, used to have a title bar at the top to get back to the weather of your favorites quickly. I would like to see that back. Instead of clicking on the WunderMap logo in top left which goes back to the main page.3 votes
We’ve added a favorites menu to the WunderMap through which you can jump to your favorites on the map or to the forecast page for each favorite.
Please let us know if you have any further feedback.
Personally, after using this since it came out, I find this interface EXTREMELY frustrating. Your previous version did a good job integrating animated satellite imagery with radar, or even by itself. In this version, the satellite imagery is, honestly, COMPLETELY UNUSABLE, even by itself. I am patient and have been trying this for months, but this is just too frustrating to continue.
The best enhancement you can make is it to de-clutter the sidebar on the interface (most of that stuff is completely unneeded.)
The best fix you can make is to get the satellite images to animate properly.67 votes
By default, when you animate satellite, we show you the last four hours of data (5 frames). Visible satellite is also available for animation.
Please provide instructions for activating the newly announced temperature overlay feature. The new feature help is not helpful.1 vote

I think you’re referring to the radar layer “storm tracks” option. We’re pushing out a change in the coming week that will persist the tracks on the map throughout the radar animation loop once they’re enabled.
The old WunderMap retained the severe weather watch/warning overlay throughout the radar loop (similar to the nexrad loops). The current version of the WunderMap turns the severe layer off during animation and then displays it only with the very last animation frame.
The ability to see developing cells in relation to current warnings throughout the animation was much more interesting and useful than only seeing severe alerts over the last frame. While the nextrad loops cover this, its a regression from the previous version of WunderMap and was a much cleaner design that should be reimplemented.2 votes
We’ve addressed this in the beta that’s available through the regular WunderMap. We plan to launch it in the coming weeks.
It took me quite a while to figure out how to get back to the forecast from the Wundermap ... at least show the favorites so it's easier to flip back and forth between the map and the forecast!2 votes
Need pull down box of favorites so can go staight to them from map.7 votes
When viewing WunderMap, it would be nice to have your favorites at the top of the page to make it easier and more user friendly to return back to an individuals favorite city/cities.2 votes
You guys have the full screen Wundermap app for the Ipad. But what about those of us who have android tablets? It would be nice to get the app on my tablet.16 votes
When I open WunderMap and select another location from my list of favorites, I cannot then go into the list and make another selection. I have to back out of the app to the main page and go back in. Please fix this.4 votes
Is there a way to view the historical animation using the VIS mode? Currently, even when view animations during daylight hours, the display is in the IR4 mode.
I'm still learning my way around the new WunderMap format, but so far it looks go.1 vote
Whether it is the original or beta Wundermap if you open the map and change the scale specifically zoom out to see more area there is a delay in the radar image. The radar image itself displays the original images on to the new re-sized map, gets the new images from the servers and than displays the correct images on to the maps. This display delay is at least 5 plus seconds. When the map is re-sized shouldn't the radar images also be resized the same time as the map with no delay?2 votes
Currently available on the beta. Will be launched by Aug 22, 2013
In the previous version, I could show the current conditions icon, city name, and current temperature for my "favorite cities". This was very helpful and was is one of my favorite features.
I still need to digest the rest of the new features before I comment.73 votes
Why does the radar images disappear sometimes when I change the size of the map, zoom in and out??
add real time lightning strikes along with the storm tracks, give it a time limit to show from current to maybe last three hours.49 votes
We just launched a first draft of the lightning strike layer today. In the layer list, it’s under “Severe”.
The new WunbderMap is great, but the screen is cluttered. I would like to be able to hide (and restore) ALL controls (location, zoom, maps, data, animation, etc.) with a single click.14 votes
We’ve added a presentation mode. You can toggle it by clicking on the button that looks like a monitor next to the Save Prefs button in the upper-right of the page.
