I want local time displayed for the radar loop. Not GMT.
I have a MAC and at least on this computer the timezone is GMT. It would be nice if the time shown was either the local timezone of the map you are looking at, or the computer you are using.
The time seems to be displayed as GMT. If there's a place to change it to my local time zone, I can't find it. While it might be interesting to customize the animation period and adjust the time to look back, I don't want to do the math. How about you let me set my local time zone and you do the math?
WunderMap now uses your browser timezone by default, instead of GMT. If you set a wunderground site timezone preference, (http://www.wunderground.com/member/membersettings.html?page=prefs), we will use it instead. In the future, we hope to expose this site preference from within the WunderMap.
But the times for the animation are still in GMT! Only when I click the current button do I see a CST time.
I liked the animation on the older version. You could see what was moving right now - is a storm approaching ? enlarging ?
This newer version lets you see animation at any point in time - past or future. I don't care, I want to see it now, let us set it.
Where are the preferences located now where you can clarify what time zone you are in and what time it is now ????????
