I saw a radar that showed a local radar with arrows showing wind directions with a speed graph of wind speeds. The shorter the arrow the lower the wind speed, the longer arrow the higher the wind speed. This shows were the wind shift is occurring such as a front moving through the area.
It gives a heads up of were a front or maybe a dry line is located in your area.Hope this helps.
